Accepted submissions get queued; sometimes the queue gets pretty full up, so it might be a few weeks until a submission gets published.
If your picture is photographically lame (typical examples: bad lighting, awkward composition, low resolution, bad .jpeg compression, excessive Photoshopping, etc.) it won’t get published. This is strictly me being picky about photography and is in no way me making a judgment call on you personally.
